When I quit my job about 8 years
back, I realized, after 6 years of working, my accumulated savings were less
than what I had paid as Income tax in these years. If you add to this the
interest on the income tax and the indirect taxes, my savings might have been
half. I felt bad about it. Really bad. Was I working to earn for our lousy government
so that it can sue my hard earned money to build savings of ‘insiders’.

Last 8
years have been very different. That ratio has changed significantly for better.
Not by stealing taxes but by reducing my earnings and expenses. While I must
admit, lot of it has been unplanned and unintentional; I feel better, lot
better.

Less
money means one is less worried about property prices, stock market, bond prices,
interest rates etc. That means a lot of worry free time that one can use for more
enjoyable things. While I have been on this path by sheer luck, I know of
several friends who have chosen this path after lot of deliberation. One
recommended reading on the topic is ‘Subtraction’ by one
of these friends.

Ok. Enough
of bhumika. This blog is about
Naturopathy and I intend to explain its basic premise of “less is more” through
an anecdote. Couple of years back, my then 3 year old son contracted conjunctivitis.
He almost ignored it and by next day he was fine. Next was my wife’s turn. She
tried some remedies but not too many and was fine by third day. And then it was
me. I was very restless. Could not afford to waste my time just resting J So, I tried several natural remedies and
utilized free time to play games on computer, phone, and do whatever else
possible. It took me full 5 days to recover.

Naturopathy
relies a lot on body’s ability to self correct and recover. We just try to help
body in the process without obstructing its functioning. Key is to provide
nutrition through easy to digest nutrient rich food (mostly raw fruits and
vegetables), cut calories and provide physical and mental rest so that body can
focus on making repairs. We try and aid this process through some treatments to
improve blood circulation in affected areas or using external forces to do things
that body might be finding difficult to do in its current weakened state.

Most of the time our patients insist on more treatments, thinking
that would give them maximum bang for the buck. Sometimes we succumb to their
arguments and recommend some ‘filler’ treatments. A clear observation is that
patients who have a very hectic day at the center take longer to recover. Isn’t
it obvious that to reach equilibrium or say to re-establish it, we need to do
less. Intelligent doctors prescribe fewer medicines, not more. But mostly we
try to bring the balance through active intervention. Suppressing that fever
through a paracetamol, suppressing that infection through an antibiotic, suppressing
that pain through a pain killer. Next time you get a fever just try taking the
day off – resting and fasting. That is what my son does and perhaps most
children would do if left to themselves. Hopefully, we’ll always have the
courage to let him do it. Hopefully I’ll someday learn it from him J

Some time back in a seminar, I heard a very concerned
botanist and ayurveda expert talking about how most of the research in Ayurveda
is going in the wrong direction. He said that currently most of it is aimed at
discovering the active ingredients in various plants, extracting that
ingredient and using it for the benefit of people. He simultaneously pointed
out that most of the molecules used as ‘active ingredients’ in various
medicines have proved to have relatively short useful life of few decades.
Either the germs become resistant to this purified form of chemical or its
effectiveness in humans start to drop over time. Compare this with herbs (crude
mixture of several compounds) which have served mankind over several centuries
without going out of fashion.

Ayurveda normally defines properties of herbal medicine as its ras (taste), gun (attributes), virya (potency),
vipak (attributes of drug assimilation),
and prabhav (dominating influence). For
decades we have not added any herbs to Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia as we do not
know how to identify these 5 properties of any new herb. His view was that new research
should be aimed at solving this problem.

I heard another very senior and respected physician talking about how we try to
simplify (over simplify) the traditional medical knowledge and try to put it in
neatly drawn boxes. Think of coca leaves (from which cocaine is extracted) which
are traditionally used in Latin America for both diarrhea as well as
constipation. It might sound totally counter intuitive but it is true. Several
herbs when used in their original form actually act as balancing herbs. So
different ingredients become active based on the body’s condition. Nature
surely is much more intelligent that most of us believe it to be.

I intuitively felt that these voices made a lot of sense but
recently found some modern scientific proof for the same. It came from a very
unusual source though. I recently met an old friend who works in open
innovation area and he shared something very interesting.

A large MNC thought that it’ll be good business to be able
to sell products with claims of health benefits derived from wisdom of
traditional medical knowledge. Soon a big budget and high profile team was
allocated for the project. Work began by empanelling doctors and Ayurveda
institutes. Soon the team realized that they need scientific evidence to be
able to make claims. More modern immunologists, doctors and labs were
empanelled. A high profile researcher asked for an expensive piece of
equipment, MALDI-TOF/TOF, and it was quickly sanctioned.

Trials started with some known ayurvedic remedies and soon team
reached conclusions that most ayurvedic physicians know intuitively.

1.
There was no single molecule acting and
triggering a change in the metabolism but there were multiple molecules acting
at different stages of metabolic cycle and bringing about a change.

2.
Chromatography and Spectrophotometry revealed
that the molecules were not the simple ingredients present in the plant but
actually reaction products formed during processing of the herbs, through
processes which are meticulously defined in ayurvedic reference texts.

The team realised that it is too complex a phenomenon to be
explained through simple scientific tools and even more difficult to synthesize
and incorporate these in everyday foods or products.

I wonder how something studied, invented, and documented
centuries ago perhaps without help of any sophisticated equipment is so
difficult for us to even understand today in spite of all the help from
advanced measuring equipment and highly brainy computers. This reminds me of
Buddha, who 25 centuries back discovered the nature, cause, and remedy of all
sufferings just by looking deep inside himself and we with all advanced
understanding of anatomy, physiology, and neural networks are still unable to
comprehend. May be more on this in my next post.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">This is perhaps most transforming of the 4 stories. It is also the oldest. More than 3 decades back in late 70’s. A doctor completed his education and returned to his village in Kutch as a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. Like most Ayurvedic doctors of his times, he started out as a general practitioner. He treated patients from nearby villages using the best knowledge he had. Pain killers, steroids, and other drugs were key tools in his tool box.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Since patients got quick relief and there were no other doctors in the nearby villages, his practice picked up very well. Soon he had good patient flow and was making good money.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">One day while he was having lunch, a friend of his jokingly tapped him on his head and he bit his tongue. The cut was deep and severe and it started bleeding profusely. He was taken to a hospital where doctor put stitched on his tongue. Unfortunately the tongue being soft tissue, the stitches didn’t stay. Doctors tried it again with same results. The condition worsened each time and he was given blood transfusion. <span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">As days passed by he became weaker and his condition worsened. Only hope was to meet a bigger doctor in a bigger city, Mumbai. As the family made preparations, he was taken to Bhuj, which had the airport. They got down at another Doctor’s place in Bhuj. This doctor was educated in US and left his flourishing practice there to come back and serve in small town where he felt there was more need for his services. Those were heady days and people were led more by their heart than head. He read a book by Gandhi and that inspired him to come back to his people and serve them. He was equally influenced by Gandhiji’s experiments in Health and medicine. He shunned his western learning and adopted Naturopathy as his key line of treatment.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Many relatives came to meet the patient and some thought it would be their last meeting. The US educated doctor made a suggestion to the patient’s family. Why don’t we try some simple naturopathy treatments before moving the patient to Mumbai. The family agreed and the treatment started. He treated patient by regularly putting drops of cold lemon water on a piece of cotton cloth placed over the cut. The bleeding stopped within a day and the tongue slowly healed. In couple of months, patient was fine and became doctor again. Of course a very different Doctor this time. He chose Naturopathy as his main tool.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">He became an intern again under the doctor who healed him. May be at a salary 1/10th of what he was earning before the incident. He learned at the feet of his guru and went on to become what I call a Rockstar of Naturopathy. He earned fame, ran a very successful practice, went to several countries to help people learn and adopt Naturopathy, went on to set up a beautiful Nature Cure Center and earned what you can call a fan following. People know him as Dr Jay Sanghvi.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">About 25 years after the incident, I met him while he was still building his new Nature Cure Center and I was fresh out of IIMA. I was amazed to see how he treated patients for chronic medical conditions using simple Naturopathy treatments. The set up was simple, tools were simple, and environment was very non-clinical. It was a hospital most unlike a hospital. The meeting changed the course of my life. I was fascinated by the idea of setting up several of such hospitals, making it accessible to common people, spreading the beauty of simplicity.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Few years later, I quit my reasonably comfortable job at GSK and set out to make this dream a reality. It gave birth to what is today called Swas Healthcare. I was extremely lucky to have my inspiration as my co-founder. I only wish I could partner more of such doctors who have the understanding, conviction, and most importantly the humility to accept that it is not the doctor but the nature that heals. Be the guide, be the lamp.

It was year 1993. There was lot of work to be done and perhaps health took a back seat. He had abdominal pain which got missed out amidst work. In 2-3 days time it had become very severe.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">He finally went to consult a Doctor, who diagnosed it as severe perforation of appendix. Perhaps appendix had ruptured. Doctor suggested immediate appendectomy though it was risky. He feared that if not operated it could lead to peritonitis which could be fatal. He was using best of the knowledge, which he had acquired during his education as a doctor, to save his patient. Surgery had to be done in next one hour.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Though Ravindrabhai, who had learnt and practiced Naturopathy was no ordinary patient. The family consulted the elder brother and renowned Naturopath, Dr Jay. He advised to avoid the surgery and wait for him to reach Mumbai. Ravindrabhai thanked the doctor for diagnosis and went back home, climbing four flights of stairs to reach his apartment. In few hours Dr jay was there next to his brother.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Treatment started. Pain was so severe that anything that touched the abdomen aggravated the pain. First 5 days it was just rest, water fasting, and warm pack on abdomen. In 5 days swelling decreased and abdominal cold pack was started. He was fed on lemon water and diluted juices. In another 10 days semi-solid and liquid diet was started.

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">All this helped body flush out the perforated appendix, and heal the inflammation. <span style="color: #333333; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Most of the time we underestimate the healing capacity of body and power of rest. We also overestimate the need to eat even when unwell. He maintained a very busy travel schedule which meant travelling at odd times and attending to tasks and meeting across the region. Few months after earthquake, Rameshbhai had a severe heart attack. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later moved to a larger one in Mumbai. His heart's ejection fraction had come down to 20 (for a healthy individual it is about 60).
Kidney failure is one of the most dreaded diseases. Even when one knows, it is coming, there is not much that one can do. Mainstream treatment normally means dialysis or transplant. Both are expensive and very taxing on the patient. Not to mention the difficulty of finding right donor in time. Economic cost of Dialysis in India would be about Rs 2-3 lakhs per year.

But there is a way out.

Some of the Naturopaths and traditional medicine practitioners have been working with kidney patients and I have the privilege of working with one of them. I write below what we do so, that more people can know and benefit from it. The note is written in collaboration with Dr Jay Sanghvi who has been treating kidney patients through combination of Naturopathy, Ayurveda, and Yoga for more than 25 years.

We combine various simple and safe treatments to enable patients take care of their kidney.

Over the years various patients have had following benefits:
- Decrease / stabilisation of creatinine levels
- Decrease frequency / Avoid dialysis
- Avoid / postpone surgery
- Symptomatic relief e.g. reduction in vomiting, blood pressure, oedema, loss of appetite, pain etc.

How does Naturopathy work?
- By reducing load on kidney by changing diet pattern
- By allowing time for kidney to rest & repair
- By activating other cleansing organs e.g. Bowel, Liver, and Skin to support kidney

Which Naturopathy treatments are used?
- Kidney pack – It’s a combination of hot and cold packs
- Fomentation – Alternative use of hot and cold towels near the kidney area.
- Hip Bath – Immersing the lower abdomen in tub filled with water.
- Friction Bath
- Reflex and meridian points

How Naturopathy treatments work: Main aim of treatment is to give proper blood supply to kidney.
- treatments to improve functioning of kidney which is weak and malfunctioning.
- treatments to remove impurities sticking to kidney
- treatments to remove infection in chronic infective condition

Herbs for kidney care: Time tested safe herbal medicine
- Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa); Red or Spreading Hogweed – It is a good diuretic and anti-inflamatory.
- Gokshur (Tribulus terrestris); It is a diuretic herb useful in kidney dysfunction, renal stones, and dysuria.
- Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia); Helps in improving immune system

Diet in kidney diseases:
Main aim of dietary plan is to decrease load on kidney by eliminating food that produces lot of by-products which in turn need to be filtered by kidney. The dietary plan also ensures that all the essential nutrients are made available thus allowing cleansing, repairing, and reconstruction. It also works towards restoring the natural balance of the body chemistry.
The diet plan is designed taking into consideration individual’s body constitution, state of disease and general health condition.

Main food items used for kidney care:
- Bottle gourd juice
- Rice & Rice water
- Green gram water
- Banana water
- Vegetables – bottle gourd, pointed gourd (parval), ivy gourd (tindora), ridged luffa (galka), smooth luffa (turiya), papaya, radish, pumpkin.

Normal course of treatment:
- 6 weeks at a Nature Cure Centre directly under supervision of doctor
- 2 to 3 months of treatment to be continued at home
- 3 weeks follow up treatment at Nature Cure Centre
This is general plan but varies as per need and condition of the individual.

Kind of conditions that can be treated through Naturopathy:
- Chronic Renal Failure - If kidney function > 30%
- Chronic Infective condition
- Inflammatory Condition
- Diabetic Nephropathy
- Hydro Nephrosis
- Renal Insufficiency

Ideal cases for treatment through Naturopathy:
- Not yet started dialysis or doing dialysis for less than 3 months
- Haemoglobin level > 10
- Creatinine < 5
- Age < 60 yrs
- No other complications with kidney disease
- Clinically stable and other parameters under control
- One who has faith in Naturopathy & wishes to go for this treatment.

How we deal with current medication & treatments?
- Normally we continue the medication being taken by the patient before starting treatment
- When symptoms and parameters show improvement, medicine is reduced or replaced with herbal medicines e.g. when blood pressure is controlled, medicine is tapered and / or replaced with Ashwagandha, Gokshur, Punarnava
- Main goal is to reduce the load on kidney which is burdened by chemicals from medicines.

Role of Yoga in Treatment of Kidney:
Asanas are selected to promote blood flow towards kidney e.g. Uttanpadasana. Yogasana which gives gentle twisting, stretching, contracting spine through which natural massage to kidney is experienced and smooth muscles are also involved in the practise (this doesn't happen in exercise), thus decreasing lethargic tendency of kidney & increasing functioning of kidney.

Pranayama and Meditation - Ancient breathing technique called Pranayama and meditation, bring perfect balance between Sympathetic Nervous System and Parasympathetic Nervous System, increase anti-stress hormone, and help to completely get rid of stress e.g. Nadi Suddhi Pranayama (Anuloma- Viloma), Bhramari, meditation etc.

Suddhi Kriya - Through different Suddhi Kriyas like Kapalbhati lot of toxic element is thrown outside through breath. This brings purification in blood as well as purification at cellular level thus decreasing work load on kidney.

Prana (Vital Force for life) - Above mentioned details are medically approved, but something which can only be experienced is Prana, Vital Force. Prana is major factor for health either physical or mental. All above practices brings balance in Prana (Vital Force) at subtler level of our existence where chemical or medicine can't reach, this opens many possible doors when medically we find the disease is un-curable.
"Sunrise 07.15. Johan-rise 04.30. 1 hour meditation. 1 hour Yoga. Then 'Nassia' drops of cleansing oil in my nose and a face massage, then Eye-cleansing. Breakfast is at 08.00. Welcome to join! Already it feels like I have done alot. And the day has almost just started.

One month has passed at this peaceful place. A month of good healing. And I do feel much better. But not yet fully recovered. 1 month still to go. Then I will be ready to conquer the world again! :)

................

So let me share with you some small stories from my veryday life here at the Naturopathy center.

After one month at a place like this one really start to feel at home. This night, as if I was walking in my own back yard I saw the most amazing sky. The desert with its unpolluted atmosphere reveales thousands and thousands of twinkling stars. And across the deep black dome the Milky Way streches out in its full glory. I even spotted the 'lilla karlavagnen,' up side down!

The winter sun of gujarati is just like our Swedish summer sun. Hot, but still gentle and soothing. Sun bathing is a bliss. Even the tractors around here remind me of home. As their 'tennkulemotor'- engine sounds just like a fishing boat from the west coast. Tom-Tom-TOm-Tom. I will arrive back home just in time to catch one and go for some fishing. But. I forgot. Im a vegetarian. Darn it. I who used to love fishing back in the days. SS Suvi still has my heart.......

SO.. For now.

Thank you all for nice comments and for all the emails! I feel sorry for not having answered you all yet. But it is always nice to wait for something good :)

Did you know by the way that is takes a 7 meter long cloth to make a turban!

Take care all dear friends around the globe!

BTW. I added some pics of us having a noodle-evening. And also today I was totally amazed about these wonderful people I meet. Devtosh, a new friend just have me his amazing weddingdress. Prince Johan has arrived!"
Author is Founder & CEO of Swas Healthcare,

People normally relate nature to greenery and think that for building a Naturopathy centre, a high rainfall area with lot of natural flora would be ideal. This notion is misplaced as Nature comprises of 5 elements water, soil, fire, air, space and greenery is just one of the topographical presentations of nature.

Kutch has emerged as the hub of Naturopathy in India. Dry climate of the area lends itself well to faster healing and a conducive environment propagates Naturopathy.
It has the highest concentration of naturopathy centres in the country, 5 prominent ones at last count.

Credit for this should go to two dedicated doctors who gave up their lucrative practices to establish and promote naturopathy in Kutch. Dr Savla (now involved full time with Vipassana center at Bada, Kutch) was the first qualified paediatrician of Kutch. He practiced in Bhuj and charged handsome fee for his very effective but simple treatments. Legend has it that more than 3 decades back, he charged someone Rs 100 for curing their son by simply feeding water. To avoid any misinterpretation, I must say, even then it was less than the money spent by the couple for taxi to Bhuj and back. He believed in Nature’s power and its simplicity.

Soon he started a Nature cure centre in Bhuj, with an aim to apply his rigorous medical training and understanding of Nature’s means to treat people using simple Natural therapies. He would treat people for all kind of diseases and disorders using mud, water, fire (heat), air, and space. He also used yoga, massage and some elements of Ayurveda.

Then one day, he had an unusual patient, a doctor. The doctor was a qualified Ayurveda physician and going with the trend, used to practice allopathic medicine in a remote village of kutch. Due to lack of medical infrastructure in the area, he had a roaring practice. Unfortunately he cut his tongue and no treatment would work. Someone suggested Dr Savla’s clinic and he was cured mainly using ice and water.

The doctor became a convert, closed down his practice and joined Dr Savla as his assistant. His name is Dr Jay Sanghvi, one of the most prominent and renowned Naturopaths in the country. Their Nature Cure Centre in Jubilee colony, Bhuj attracted poor and rich alike. They always found ways and means to treat people with chronic diseases, many a times called irreversible conditions in modern medicine. Kidney disorders, heart problems, arthritis, fibromyalgia, ulcerative colitis and several other medical conditions were treated in this centre using Natural remedies and warmth of the doctors. Though the centre no longer runs in its previous form, people treated fondly remember the time spent there. Isn’t it unusual for a hospital!

Soon the place became hub of activity for all naturopathy related activities in the area. As they say, ‘log judte gaye aur karva banta gaya’, (people kept coming together and caravan was formed).

They along with Late Sri Sugnaram ‘Dada’ Ladkani started ‘All India Natural Life Association’ to spread the goodness of Naturopathy beyond Kutch and Gujarat. They started ‘Tulsi School of Naturopathy’ to train youth in skills of treatment through Naturopathy. They collaborated with Dr Nipun Buch to incorporate more elements of Ayurveda in their suites of treatment.

More importantly they motivated huge number of people to adopt Natural remedies and lifestyle through camps in several cities as well as in foreign countries, radio talks, talks and lectures to youngsters in colleges, rotary club members, Mahila Mandals etc. They motivated several philanthropists to set up Nature Cure Centres and guided them through their immense knowledge and experience. They really used 360° communication to propagate Naturopathy in Kutch and beyond.

Today there are 5 prominent Nature Cure Centres in Kutch. Navjivan near Mandvi, one each in Bidada and Mundra, Sarvamangal in Bhuj and youngest among them, Ananddham in Kharoi near Bhachau.

Ananddham is yet another unique experiment of Dr Sanghvi. He collaborated with Sanjay Singh, an IIM Ahmedabad graduate to float Swas Healthcare, which runs this centre to serve poor as well as financially well to do on a commercially sustainable basis. The logic, commercial viability is important to expand quickly and take its benefits to large number of people. Recently Swas has opened a City Clinic in Rajkot to improve accessibility of its services. Jury is still out on whether Naturopathy would remain a philanthropic activity or society would be willing to pay directly for its benefits, but if this model succeeds, Kutch would be remembered as its birth place.
Author is Founder & CEO of Swas Healthcare,

The centre is managed by Mr. Sanjay Singh, IIM-A.

While at the Centre, the following was the line of treatment - Yoga & Pranayam, Diet control, Mud packs, Massages, Hot & cold fomentations and wraps, Magnet therapy, Accupressure etc. The treatment course is dictated by the patient's condition.

While at the Centre, I have seen kidney failure cases, the creatinine levels dropping from 9 when admitted to 5 when discharged. A person with a history of having undergone 100 dialysis, has spend 45 days at the Centre, & is now off the dialyzer since the past 6 months. A 30-year old case of hypothyroidism has been completely cured. My brother-in-law was admitted with obesity-related osteo-arthiritis, and his knee-joint pain has been reduced by as much as 85%. A patient with high BP problem reduced his daily BP medication by 50% within 4 days, and stopped all medications within 10 days. A lady from Sharjah is currently being treated for Parkinsons.

These are not miracles, but judicious lifestyle changes for better health. The human body is given a chance to heal itself, which it is quite capable of doing.

I recommend Nature Cure for its effectiveness, for treating Arthritis, Obesity, BP problems, renal function impairment, diabetes and many other life-long problems, since a chance is made available to the patient to lead as normal a life as possible."

Sudhir (A new and improved version after the treatment)
Author is Founder & CEO of Swas Healthcare,

With long hours of work and limited sleep hours during my residency and felowship, the stress on my physical body started to show. Early in Jan 2007 I started having bouts of bloody diarrhoea with mucus, low grade temperature and severe fatigue. Further investigations including a colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy revealed that I had ulcerative colitis, a disease which causes inflammation of the large intestine leading to ulcers and subsequent loose stools mixed with blood and pus.

Although the exact etiology of the disease still remains a mystery, environmental and genetic factors have been implicated. For me the stress of long hours of work, the cold environment and my family history of ulcerative colitis might have played an important role. The frequent bowel movements, local discomfort in the rectum, the exhaustion and fatigue were impairing my ability to work. In spite of these physical aliments, I was able to function and carry on my duties thanks to strength I received by practicing Vipassana meditation.

I was blessed to come in contact with Vipassana, the ancient technique of meditation taught by Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Through this technique one learns to observe the mind – body interactions in an equanimous manner and in doing so slowly but surely purifies his or mind and gets rid of defilements which are a root cause of our misery and many physical and mental diseases. If practiced properly one is sure to reap its benefits.

Due to my hectic schedule I was not able to devote time for the meditation regularly, hence although the technique helped me to deal with my disease I would still suffer from relapses.

After completion of my training, I visited India.
